Coast route:
With the extraordinary landscape of the Lisbon Bar and a coast full of interesting geological, architectural and landscape references, this route starts in the wine area of Oeiras reaching Colares, passing through Carcavelos; always by the sea. The highlights of some of the most important heritage elements of this path are point out.

Route Quintas de Carcavelos:
Some remaining elements of the traditional estates of Carcavelos, some dating back to the fourteenth century, still allow the perception of the old activities and life experiences. Every quinta combines a particular story that sometimes allows us to an almost "genealogy" of the property over the centuries. If individuality is evident, architecturally and historically the unity in viticulture was a reality that we cannot forget.

Route Quintas from Caparide Valley:
Valley of an extraordinary landscape quality, embedded in urban areas, almost seem to make the connection of the Sintra mountain to the ocean. The maintenance of important habitats for several species, like birds of prey, is part of the human presence on the territory and, naturally, with the vineyards. Traditional farm area, we can found smaller and larger properties with multi-secular records where the eighteenth century registered a remarkable evolution. From this valley many casks or barrels left driven by wagoners, headed for the port of Paço d'Arcos and went on frigates to the warehouses of Lisbon, like Martinha or Santa Apolónia, and conquered the world.
