António João Pinto Paneiro, great-grandson of Antonio Joaquim Pinto Junior and João Camilo Alves, both producers of Bucelas wines in the nineteenth century, began its own production in 1993 after receiving inheritance small farmhouse Chão do Prado.

Eight hectares which currently produces dry white wine and sparkling wine with designation of origin and marketed under the brand "Chão do Prado", from vine varieties: arinto,  esgana-cão and rabo de ovelha.

The production of this natural raw constituted a novelty in the market and was the first step for Bucelas were to be demarcated as sparkling wine region, in 1999, another factor contributing to the enhancement of local wines.

Quinta da Murta, located in the hills of the demarcated region of Bucelas, are surrounded by one of the main Roman roads that crossed Portugal and very close to the last Anglo-Portuguese fortification, which served as the hinge against Napoleon's troops.
It is located about 25 km north of Lisbon, in the Lusitanian basin, whose soil dates from the Jurassic period.

The vineyard is planted on the upper slopes, 250 meters above sea level. Facing south and southwest, it is protected from the Atlantic winds by a range of hills, enjoying a very specific microclimate. Wet and relatively cold in the winter and in the evenings, contrasting with hot, dry days during the summer. All this contributes to a slow maturation, but perfect that retains the freshness of the Atlantic Ocean.

Besides the vineyard and its landscape, the existence of a modern winery, with tasting room and a shop where you can find old crops, the Quinta da Murta also features a ballroom, a rustic house with pool and an outdoor deck that can accommodate for all types of events up to 300 guests.

Located in À-das-lebres, parish of Santo Antão and São Julião do Tojal.

The manor house is one of the baroque buildings existing Loures municipality. Purchased in April the 8th, 1872, by Joaquim Franco Cannas to the Marquis of Valada, Quinta das Carrafouchas is owned by the same family until the present day. Inspired by the traditional way of making wine, Quinta das Carrafouchas wine results from the passionate work of its people, the land and the art of treating the wine and the vineyard. The winery, licensed since 1932, only since 1954 begun white wine prodution, and it was sold in bulk. After the implementation of new varieties of vine and vineyard remodeling, it is currently the private vineyard nearest to Lisbon inner city.

Quinta Nova de Bucelas is one of the oldest estates in the region. Established in the 17 th century, it has been in the family for generations.

The vineyards are embedded in the clay and limestone soils of the Trancão River Valley.

The unique microclimate of the area allows the Arinto grapes to reach their perfect level of ripeness and to attain this wine overflowing with freshness, minerality and complexity.

Situada em Bucelas, no âmago de uma das mais antigas regiões exportadoras de vinho (mencionado por Shakespeare em Henrique VI), a Quinta da Romeira iniciou, em 1988, um profundo projeto de restauro do solar.

Em simultâneo, garantiu a plantação daquela que é a mais extensa área de vinha contínua da casta Arinto, em Portugal. Possui, atualmente, 70 hectares e uma adega totalmente concebida para a produção de vinhos brancos, de elevadíssima qualidade.

Diz-nos a sua história que, em 1703, o terceiro conde de Castelo Melhor, Luis de Vasconcelos e Sousa – protagonista nas negociações do contrato de casamento entre a princesa Catarina de Bragança e o rei de Inglaterra, Carlos II – instituiu o Morgadio de Santa Catherina, em honra da princesa, no qual incluiu a Quinta da Romeira, localizada em Bucelas. No final do século seguinte, Sir Arthur Wellesley, mais tarde duque de Wellington, chegou mesmo a repousar no Solar da Quinta, uma casa de traçado sóbrio e aristocrático, avistando das suas janelas manuelinas as famosas “linhas de torres”, que mandou construir, às portas de Lisboa.
